    Flow Cytometry (FACS)
    Specificité
This antibody recognises the murine homologue of human CD11c, which is a 150/90 kDa member of the beta 2 integrin family. In mice, CD11c is primarily expressed by dendritic cells. Clone N418 has been reported to enhance antigen specific responses when used to target dendritic cells in vivo.

    Sujet
CD11c (integrin alpha X chain protein) combines with the beta 2 chain (ITGB2) to form a leukocyte specific integrin referred to as inactivated C3b (iC3b) receptor 4 (CR4). The alpha X beta 2 complex seems to overlap the properties of the alpha M beta 2 integrin in the adherence of neutrophils and monocytes to stimulated endothelium cells, and in the phagocytosis of complement coated particles. The CD11c antigen is a marker for hairy cell leukaemia.Synonyms: CD11 antigen-like family member C, ITGAX, Integrin alpha-X, Leu M5, Leukocyte adhesion glycoprotein p150 95 alpha chain, Leukocyte adhesion receptor p150 95
