Indications d'application: IHC, ICC (frozen or formalin–fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections, cell smears) For IHC dilute conc. antibodies 1:50-1:100, use streptavidin-biotin system or polymer system, incubate 30 minutes at room temperature. Prediluted antibody is ready to be used for IHC. The optimum dilution should be determined by the individual lab. Positive Control: Human pancreas. Cellular Localization: Cytoplasmic.

Sujet: Insulin is a 51 amino acids peptide hormone MW 5808 Da. It is produced by beta cells of the islets of Langerhans in the pancreas. Insulin enhances membrane transport of glucose, amino acids and certain ions. It promotes glycogen storage, formation of triglycerides and synthesis of proteins and nucleic acids. Lack of insulin causes diabetes mellitus. Insulin is also present in tumors of B cell origin such as insulinoma.
